It seems as if Blaber is not so fair and balanced as one might think. Perhaps with his enormous noggin buried so far up Mr.Hein's ass, it becomes impossible to see just what's going on in this county, regarding our so-called "millionaire-out-of-towner's." Where were Hein and Auerbach, this past Saturday? The Save Our Soldiers benefit in Saugerties apparently isn't worth their time. Maybe they were out, trying to snag their second line...The Elitist Party. Certainly, someone who lives in Accord is unfit to run for county office, as was the feeling I got from some of the posts on Blaber's blog. If Blaber and some of his supporters could pull their noses out of the clouds, they just might smell what's coming...
Come on Ulster Politics, Bernardo was also standing up for flooded residents at the Town of Wawarsing Town Board meeting and sources say he was in Kingston meeting with people on Sunday. Even you aren't giving us the full story.
I don't know any millionaires, but I would think that if someone has made a million dollars, that they must be pretty smart. I would much rather have some men who made a million dollars running my county than someone who has only worked for other "private owners" or "government". I would like to know some of the secrets that Bernardo and Quigley know as to how to make money. Maybe they can help our county. Also, the county is such a good ole boys corrupt place, and these men seem like they do business the right way. That's what I think we need in Ulster County.

"The Two-Hundred Thousand Dollar Question
Dr. Richard Craft appeared before the village board once again to discuss the idea of a knife museum taking up residence on the as-yet unfinished fifth floor of the Government Center. On the table for discussion this time was $200,000 for renovations of the fifth floor, which Dr. Craft said he had been told were available by Village Manager Elliott Auerbach during a previous meeting between the two. Craft had brought this figure up at the previous village board meeting on June 9, much to the surprise of the board members themselves. Auerbach was not present at the meeting to elaborate on Craft's words, so the discussion of the funds was tabled until this meeting.
Now that Auerbach was available for comment, however, it was revealed that there had been a misunderstanding between the two. Auerbach said that the $200,000 was earmarked for use on the fifth floor's completion — which is currently uninhabitable by any tenant — and the village would be taking out a Bond Anticipatory Note (BAN) to make the renovations. This is why Mayor Jeff Kaplan said that he and the rest of the board owed it to the taxpayers to ensure that should a tenant be found for the fifth floor, that they be a tax- and rent-paying entity, which would then offset the cost of the BAN.

The Bernardo's do NOT let kids curse, hang out outside before their ride comes, fight, make out, etc. If you call that "preying" on kids, then I say bring it on. You claim that there are only 2 people that work at Skate Time. On Friday nights there are 2 floor guards, 2 snack bar attendants (sometimes 3), 1 cashier, 1 skate room attendant, 1 or 2 people on security, 1 DJ, 1 manager, and 1 person on cleaning. On a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, you would have all of the above staff plus 1 party manager, 4 party heros and 2 party runners. Let's set the record straight, shall we? I am a father of four who lives in the Town where Skate Time 209 is located. My kids go there often and I feel completely safe in bringing them there. I agree with 9:09 and 8:59. I too bring my kids to Skate Time and am VERY angry about these lies. The Town of Rochester and Ulster County needed a place where kids could go and be safe. The Bernardos built it. Where every other town has a problem with skateboarders and has signs that say "NO Skateboarding or Roller Blading", WE in the Town of Rochester welcome them. It would be a very sad day in Rochester if Skate Time were not there. This crazy person attacking them needs to be identified. He/she reminds me of the ramblings of Ted Kaczynski, the unabomber. We can only hope that a friend or family member will recognize the writing and will get this person the help that they need.

By the way, I see you take your family to the city. Every year, one or two of those "little" helicopters go into the river. Unlike the S76 or the AB139, your Bell 407 only has one engine, so when it fails, you go for a swim.
If your pilot is stupid enough to buzz the neighbors and create unnecessary noise, he/she could lose their license. Federal Aviation Regulation Part 91 prohibits flying in a careless or reckless manner or at a low altitude to "create an udue hazard to persons or property on the surface."
