OK, you know you are a desperate blogmaster when your big story is that a candidate for office got a traffic ticket. The staff at Ulster Politics has also been told that Bernardo also failed to floss after lunch two weeks ago. When he was a little boy, we also heard Bernardo skipped a homework assignment in his seventh grade science class. We guess when you’re Jeremy Blaber, and you are supporting Mike Hein - the County Administrator on whose watch taxes went up while jobs went down, the best you can do is yap about some traffic ticket.
From what we have learned, Bernardo was pulled over for not stopping at a stop sign, sat in his car, was ticketed for not completely stopping at the stop sign, pled guilty to the traffic ticket and paid his fine. In other words, Bernardo was accountable for his actions – something neither Mike Hein nor his surrogate, Jeremy Blaber are.
Mr. Hein was a Republican. He worked as the Deputy County Treasurer. He told County Legislators the County was not going to be able to pay its bills. They raised taxes as a result. Then when the Democrats won control of the Legislature Hein switched parties and became a Democrat. Under his watch no new county business parks were developed, taxes rose, and good jobs like Colony Liquor, and Hyrdo Aluminum are leaving Ulster County.
I’ll take the guy who’s speeding to a meeting at Tech City (Bernardo) – where job s are needed, than the guy who’s not creating jobs, politicking on County time, and proposing higher taxes every chance he gets – Hein.

If Bernardo got pulled over for a speeding ticket, then why would the cop have "downgraded" it to failure to stop for a stop sign.... which cops do all the time for "nice" people if Bernardo had been "out of control"?
Desperate is the right word. Hein cannot defend his record of raising taxes and losing jobs so he has pawns like Blaber post lies like he posts. Shame on Jeremy but also shame on Hein.
Bernardo's private sector experience: created 350 jobs, paid millions in taxes, built three successful companies.
Hein's private sector record: sold jewelery at the mall and then worked at a local bank.
I'll take Speedy Bernardo anyday of the week. Somebody needs to pick up the pace around Ulster County because we are going backwards now!
It has nothing to do with the ticket. Who cares about a traffic infraction. The big thing is him getting out of his car and saying to the cop: Do You Know Who I am? Let's have him publicly deny what was caught on tape.
Well...again my comments on Blaber's site go ignored, probably due to the fact that they make sense. Apparently there's a video of this incident? I say bring it! I don't understand how people think they can make accusations without proper evidence. If this is the way Hein and his supporters are going to run this county, I'll be better off in China. Apparently some of my fellow Democrats are morons...
this is just more dirty tricks out of the Hein camp. Blaber is his mouth piece. Nicky Woerner is a partner with him. Nicky and Jeremy are good old boy wanna bees. When you are under 25, you can only be a wanna bee good old boy because you are not old enough to be "old anything". They will do anything to gain acceptance into this club. It may cost young Blaber some time in court himself, as this rises to the level of actual malice.
I hesitate to believe that the Hein Camp sanctioned this. This is all Blaber and Woerner. It reeks of immaturity and testosterone induced muscle flexing.
As for Nick Woerner, he fashions himself a big time player in this very small world of Ulster County Politics. This type of thing works well for Nick. He gets to show the Al Spada crowd that he has access to inside information from the police anytime he wants it. Kind of pitiful don't you think?
Both of these young "men" have so much to learn. They will have a very distorted thought process by the time they are 30 if they do not straighten out and fly right but fast.
Let's connect the dots of dirty Democratic games
1) Someone mails the Bernardos ants. Instead of anyone saying that they condone this behavior regardless of who did it, the Democrats then try and smear the Bernardo's credibility by accusing them of making up the story. People are still ridiculing the story on the blogs.
2) Mr. Kirschner's office harasses the Bernardo's business by sending him double tax bills with saying they weren't paid, then denies the story to Hugh Reynolds and Paul Brooks
3) Democrat Zali Win broadcasts an e-mail from the Bernardos. The Democrats leaked the Nina issue, not the Bernardo's in an attempt to 1) hurt Bernardo 2) raise the issue of getting a Democratic Clerk Elected
4) A ticket for a traffic stop in Democrat Supervisor Nick Woerner's town is now made public with the added little bonus that there is allegedly video of Mr. Bernardo getting out of his car. No one has seen the video. Jeremy Blaber and Nick are buddies and were probably just scanning the public records accessible by Woerner to try and smear Bernardo. Sounds sort of morally bankrupt to me.
Democrats can't run on their own record because it sucks, so they must resort to these stupid games.

I didn't mention the Ulster County Tourism issue, because it has been concluded that Rick and Lisa at UC Tourism are really just incompetent people appointed by the Democrats after all the Republicans were fired, not dirty politics.

This kid is a pathological liar who delights in trying to drive the Republicans crazy. He does these things just to get attention.
He's far to fat, stupid and broke to pick up girls and have any sort of personal life, so he has to sling false accusations on his blog to try and gain acceptance by a bunch of old men in Kingston.
Look at all of the things that Nick does. Look at his car with the police radio and lights. He has acces to the police computer so he can lok up things to use against other people.

What is so funny about Blaber and his Blog. He only picks what he wants on there. I wrote that he can put down Bernardo but what about all of the *** things Nick does. He has a Police Radio and Lights and Siren in his so called PERSONAL CAR. He rides around in an unmarked Police car, and uses it for personal use. He has access to the police department computer so he can look and possibly change and or delete what he may not like. It would be great if an attorney looked into that and used that in court. If he, as a civilian has access to the police computer could it be used as a defense. If Nick gets stopped, tell me he does not use his Police commissioner badge.
Bernardo made this whole story up and leaked it so that Blaber would get it. The joke is all on Blaber.

Woerner next year will have a well funded Republican, Conservative, Independence, Working Families candidate running against him.
John Morrow will have major money and major backing. You will see Quigley, Bonacic and Catalano pumping money into that race the same way they did in the DA race.
Woerner's only chance for survival is to calm down, go underground and stop the politics.
I'll campaign for Morrow, and I don't even live in the Town of Ulster. Nicky Woerner is bad news and needs to be shown the door.
Mr. Blaber, I'm quite sure you won't post this, but I'm going to write anyway.
I am a Democrat and while you think you are doing us a favor by "exposing" Mr. Bernardo, I see it as nothing that a juvenile, shallow attack on a candidate.
I would ask that you stop these attack politics, as now you have not convinced me that Mr. Bernardo is not a worthy candidate, now I have sympathy for the Bernardo family, and am embarrassed to be associated with you and any Democratic campaign that would use such tactics.
Mr. Hein needs to dis-associate himself from you. You have become a liability, not an asset to the Democratic Party.

Yet, on March 3, 2007, you wrote the following about Bill Clinton, a perjurer who had to give up his license to practice law because of his felonious conduct:

Apparently, your "higher standard" applies to non-criminal violations by Republican candidates but not to felonies committed by Democrat Presidents.
If this is the best dirt Democrats can get on Len Bernardo, Mike Hein is in serious trouble. More to the point, if Mike Hein and Hein supporters such as Jeremy Blaber are dependent on mud to win an election, the Democrats need to take a good hard look at who they are and how the voters of this County are going to react to such childish, amateur and unethical tactics.
I've always wondered what the depths of desperation looked like. It's not pretty.

It is funny that blaber wrote a request for the ticket and the disposision and nick went to the court to get it. Blabber should of had this info before he wrote the story I like Mike Hein and think that he would do a good job. There is no way I could back him with Nick and Balber on his side. Mike get smart and run on your own and get rid of nick and blaber. Nick has destroyed the Town of ulster and we do not need him near the county.

I note Mr. Blaber's post on his blog on the Ulster police. Right now he's on the brink of crossing the line into libel. He publishes anything specific he will get sued.
Blogs like Abe's are fine. A little fun, a little noise, a few opinions.
The malice put forward on the Blaber blog is actionable in a lawsuit. First supboena would go to any associate of Blaber's who has access to Ulster police records. That means Supervisor Woerner. Blaber better really have a story, or really remove his post. Now.
I was at the mall the today and I saw Jeremy Blaber eat three hamburgers, then he was over by the restrooms and pay phones and he was talking to a girl. He must have propositioned her, because all of a sudden, she reached out to smack him, but he smacked her first.
Then security came over and they called the Ulster County Sheriff and escorted Jeremy out in handcuffs.
It was quite a scene at the mall today. It's all on the mall video tape too. All of the security guards were talking about it. They even took me to the security office and showed me the video because I was a witness.
If you believe all of this, there are some polls on Jeremy's blog that you might want to read as well. Of course this didn't happen, but what's Jeremy supposed to do, get the video to prove his innocence.

Get it right 9:59, it's not a whole blog dedicated to Blaber, it's one thread, and quite frankly, he deserved it.
In fact, I believe that he has seen the error of his ways and he has now removed the post that initiated this thread on Ulster Politics.
In my opinion, this blog (Ulster Politics) has done it's job in exposing Blaber's blog for the useless nonsense that it is.

Tell you what. When this comes out as being false (I have information it is false) all parties involved will be in deep doo doo. Complaints have been made all the way up the line since we cannot rely on Ulster and Kingston politicians to be ethical.
No matter what he does Blaber gets mentioned more than anyone. He has a goldmine. Give him credit - someday he will be King.
