Mr. Vice President

The staff at Ulster Politics enjoys National Politics as well as Ulster Politics. Today, Barack Obama announced that his Vice Presidential running mate will be Joe Biden from Delaware.

The announcement "process" was a circus, and more like the release of a record album than the announcement of a Vice Presidential nominee.

Whether this process or nominee helps him or hurts Obama remains to be seen.

Regardless, Barack's production company pulled out all of the stops to produce this one.

He could have gotten the whole enchilada with Clinton, but instead, chose someone that will be in lock-step with Obama’s left wing views. Biden is Obama's “yes” man–he doesn’t want feedback, he wants a pushover.

Advantage McCain

Biden the VP for the man who promised change and hope to DC? A 35 year career politician who never had to sweat anything other than an election why he has lived high off the hog on the taxpayers. He couldn't even write his own stuff in back in 1988 and was demolished by Mike Dukakis in the primaries. If Obama was thinking old -- he should have went with Teddy or the dude from West Virginia who has every street named after him and I can't remember his name.

Obama/Clinton would have crushed McCain.

Obama/and other outsiders would have kept the race close.

Obama/Biden will be crushed by McCain and I hope Liberman.

Strange that no one other than Senators lead the 2 party system.

Obama made an unwise decision and the voters will punish him for it. An inexperienced choice

America needs Joe Biden in the White House like it needs nuclear warheads in Ahmadinejad’s hands

When a generation has passed and the Islamofacists have firmly established themselves and their ruthless tactics everywhere in the West, George Bush Jr. will be viewed as a great visionary who stood up for the principles of our great country and didn’t back down, in spite of continual belittlement by traitors like Biden.

Those on the left will then be recognized as Neville Chamberlains who aided and abetted this great enemy of freedom.

What will it take for us to wake up to the cold reality that these Islamic terrorist are utterly relentless and will not stop until they impose their 7th century draconian Sharia law on the entire world, by the edge of the sword if necessary.

10:58, you are an idiot.... it is a REAL ALBUM! The Album is called Mr. Vice President! It's by Snoopdog, a very mainstream artist who has a TV show on the E! channel called Fatherhood. The only racism is in your head.

I love Snoop Dog's show Fatherhood on E! It's hysterical. My favorite episode is when his kids play soccer with David Beckham and his wife tries to get him to start eating healthier and he sneaks food behind her back.

I agree with 11:16. It's the only record album out there called Mr. Vice President. There's nothing racist about Snoop Dog - he's great!

I don't know which show is funnier, Snoop Dogs Fatherhood or Run's House.

"A forest scene or a donkey"??

A parody of a Snoop Dog album is racist?

Just because you are black doesn't mean you are for Obama. That kind of assumption is the only kind of racism that I see going on here.

Maybe you should take a lesson from Snoop Dog himself.

Snoop Dog Weighs in on Clinton vs. Obama

Like most of us, Snoop Dogg is having a tough time deciding who to support for president. Snoop appeared on CNN's Larry King Live last weekend to discuss family, career, and politics. He told talk show host Larry King that, although he's not affiliated with any political party, either of the two Democratic candidates in the race would make a good president.

"I just want to see somebody win in the best interest of America," said Snoop, "whether it be Obama, a black man, or whether it be Hillary, a woman." "Either one is a great move for America," he continued. "We need change. We need somebody in there that's about listening to the people and representing the people. I think both of the candidates will do that."

Snoop Dogg torn between Obama, Clinton

CNN
Watch Snoop Dogg talk politics.

(CNN) — Days before 22 states are set to hold Democratic primary contests, it appears at least one crucial endorsement is still up for grabs: Rapper Snoop Dogg's.

The rapper and music producer told CNN's Larry King he is torn between both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton's historic candidacies.

"I just want to see somebody win in the best interest of America — whether it be [Obama], a black man, or whether it be Hillary, a woman," Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr., says in an exclusive interview set to air Friday night.

"Either one is a great move for America," he continued. "We need change. We need somebody in there that's about listening to the people and representing the people. I think both of the candidates will do that."

Snoop Dogg also said he thinks America is ready for a black president, noting Obama is the first African-American with a legitimate chance to win the White House.

"In the past we had presidential candidates like [Rev.] Jesse Jackson. We didn't really think he can win," he said. "Right now people feel like this man could really win. He's got the right thing going for him. He's got the right conversation. He's in line with the right scenario to win. Whether he wins or loses, he made a great step for black America by even stepping to the table and pulling off something like this."

Those on the left, were too distracted in History class trying to find and point out all the injustices America or the white man were guilty of, to see that History repeats itself. Most on the left, still don't know who Neville Chamberlains is, think he is a former basketball star, or think he was RIGHT.

I was about to vote for Obama, yet after this ridicule of a lack of justification for his new VP, I think not. Lets see: Obama ran a campaign based on ?change?, he wanted someone new, fresh, someone who had not been tainted by Washington politics, not sure how Joe Biden fits that choice; Obama spent so many days pondering on which individual to pick, yet did not pick the best qualified candidate and this is one of those decisions he has had time to ponder; Yet, his key competitor, which earned 18 million votes or more was not selected; Obama?s VP has spent 35 + years, as a Washington insider, where is the change, a fresh person for Washington; So where is the change . . . . because it was announced at 3 AM; This campaign is now over.
