You asked for it you got it Toyota!

Remember those commercials "YOU! Asked for it - you got it - Toyota"

Ulster County: It's not a Toyota. It's the scariest double feature that has ever aligned in New York. The Good Old Boys of Ulster - not really Democrats... not really Republicans.... We like to call them.... In-It-For-Themselvians along with the esteemed (not) true Democrat Malcolm Smith. The overeager guy who is like a 16 year old kid who just can't wait to drive Dad's car and the Good Old Boys who are "Daddy" right here in Ulster are going to be making decisions that will affect your life. We will have much to say about both of these camps in the months to come. Blaber was just a hobby. This is serious business.

The staff at Ulster Politics is on the fence about Obama. We are going to take a wait and see attitude with his administration. That should make those liberal Dems out there happy and keep you wondering just what our position is. He really is looking like he might put together a good team. His transition team co-chair, Valerie Jarrett (no, she's not Republican Elaine Chao) has top notch credentials and vows to keep it bi-partisan. We like it , we like it!

As for the rest of the people elected 'round here....... Remember, YOU..... asked for it.... a quick check of the election results shows which Towns bear the burden.... Bad decision. Very bad decision. .

There's always hope, we have it from reputable sources that certain agencies may have certain information on certain people that could be very bad for them. The bad guys always get caught in the end... did anyone see Goodfellas?? How about American Gangster? Erin Brockovich? How about 21? It just takes a few good citizens to open their mouths to straighten things out, and it can happen here in Ulster County. If you see something, or know something, tell someone. You could be the person that makes the difference.

I trust that Jim Quigley has hired a big time election law attorney? I have no doubt that Auerbach has.

This is the time for the "contest" to begin.

Time to take off the gloves and fight.

Kathy Mihm, welcome to the Board of Elections!

The MAJORITY of voters want THEIR Government to be run by Democrats. Who are you to say it was a bad decision? Let's see how things work out before we judge ok?

Win and lose with dignity.

I think Ulster Politcs got it right, Hein is a DINO (that's Democrat in name only)

So don't get too cocky Democrats, he's not out there looking out for your best interests.

However that doesn't mean he's a Republiacan either.

Mike does what benefits Mike and his benefactorswho stopped at nothing to get him elected.

I won't name names, but I know them all well.

Jarret started the bi-partisan rhetoric, NOT Ulster Politics and the "Republicans"

Valerie brought it up on Meet The Press Sunday morning with Tom Brokaw

You should really check your facts before slinging mud.

I agree with you. Give Obama a chance, he was elected President of the United States and deserves our respect whether I voted for him or not.

I think that he will have either an incredibly successful term or the whole country will go down the toilet. That is not meant to be mean or nasty. I really believe he will go balls to the wall trying to make changes just as he campaigned on and either they will be very good or very bad there is not much middle ground.

After reading Blaber's blog, I almost am hoping Auerbach pulls it off. The kid had me close to tears. It's good to be young and idealistic. Rather refreshing.

I've seen something.

Could someone get the Mike Hein signs down?

There is a 4x8 in front of the old Ames in Napanoch

There are also lawn signs all up and down Route 209.

I guess Hein belives in the FILO concept

Either that or he still believes he is above the law

Take your signs down Mike. Isn't tha the least that we could expect from our new County Executive?
