Where is Kingston Truth?

Faithful bloggers are used to checking out KingstonTruth.blogspot.com for the latest update on what's happening in politics. You could always count on the blog master to update it in the morning, usually until about noon. After that there might be an occasional update, but for the most part you would have to wait until morning to see the latest posts.

A few days ago the blogmaster posted that he was going to go away for awhile and enjoy the summer and told the rest of us losers to do the same thing.

Today when you visit Kingston Truth, you get the following message:

Blog not found

Sorry, the blog you were looking for does not exist. However, the name kinstontruth is available to register!

The staff at Ulster Politics thinks that More Blogs = More Fun!
We're sorry to see K ings ton Truth go!

Does anyone know what happened to Kingston Truth?

Kingstontruth is gone. Someone who "swears" they know who it is told me they heard a rumor a few weeks ago that the person who they think is the administrator of that blog is ill and is leaving the area to be closer to family. It kind of makes sense now.

The only other decent blog out there. I hope whoever it is gets well soon and returns in time for elections.

What are you talking about 9:26. There are other great blogs out there, like Blaber's

I just read it this morning. He stated he would be spending more time outdoors than breathing the artificial air conditioned are of his home office. Mentioned nothing about closing down for good.

Blaber is not fair. Just because he picks different sides once in awhile, does not make him fair.He just favors who he wants to win. He also is very sporadic in his postings.

I wouldn't doubt that "Honest_Abe" had enough of the unpublished cut-throat comments made at him on his blog. But at least he exited the blog world with class having written the last word. His legacy lasted two years.

Good riddens to that jerk.

The fishbowl is down too.

Ucp too.

I would bet that Kingston Truth left town quite awhile ago. They have been pilfering from newspapers and other blogs for months. When was the last time they broke a story? They were good at following up and picking out of other blogs. Blaber, Fishbowl, Ulster Politics or Mojo, and even the Freeman usually broke the story though. Someone will take over with a better blog.

I just hope the guy is ok. If he just decided he had enough then thats cool.

The writer of the blog had a good sense of what was going on and rarely let his own political views show through with one exception. He did not like Rich Cahill and for that reason, I loved the guy.

The staff at Ulster Politics hopes that Kingston Truth is OK too. As Jeremiah said, if he had enough, that's OK, but we hope that everything else is OK with him/her.

9:05, I enjoyed the blog and I think most people did. You must be one of the 2 or 3 people who he called out. Who is the "we"? You are on your own here buddy.

Clark Richters needs a hobby or he is going to get himself in trouble again.

Boy, the enemy of mere words that hates the idea of free expression, really gets off on someone taking a vacation. Abe said he'd be back. He took off time last year too. Just because a couple of blogs shut down, it doesn't mean free speech is dead.

I'm treasure hunting..... (never found anything yet but can tabs and three cents).

What's yours?

The local blogshere is already shit. Losing one of the better ones is going to make it worse.

Is there anyone who is going to try and fill these shoes? We need news, I'd even take Blaber's nonsense.

This is taken from Woerner's Blog,

"he is also the owner of Capitol Horizons, a company that has assisted in securing more than 30 Million dollars for the development and construction of 200units of affordable and Senior Housing."

Can someone clarify this, I never heard this before? I am assumuing that this money was not secured for building in the Town of Ulster while he was supervisor. That wouldn't be good.

This one is even better! Not only did they not bring any jobs to Ulster, the company left for Highland!

Nice work Nick, I am glad you had such a big hand in this with Congressman Hinchey.

That blog reminds me of how Woerner runs the town. He starts something and leaves it half done or loses interest after a few days. Except for fundraisers of course.

Must not have been any cash rewards for maintaining a blog.
